 A Social Event Caterers was opened in September, 1995 in the Cottage Hill area in downtown Montgomery by then Gwen Stillwell, a single mother with 4 children. Needing a larger kitchen, Gwen moved her catering business to its present location and later opened Bandannas Resturant in July, 1998. In 2000, Gwen and Alvin Massey were married and now work together, (sometimes with their 6 children) managing their businessA Social Event has catered many events throughout the Montgomery area including feeding the stars at the Jubilee City Fest for the last nine years and as
the premiere caterer for Troy State University's new stadium club and box suites, catering upwards of 3000 people per event. Bandanas is available for private
parties in the evenings and on the weekends. We cater events, large and small, including casserole delivery service, and more formal functions such as wedding
receptions, anniversary and birthday parties, and theme events like fish fry's and BBQ's. We have also began catering for the new Biscuits Baseball Team in Montgomery.
